About Canopy Commons
Hi, I'm Daniel, the person behind Canopy Commons.
When my wife was starting her business, finding popup markets without an existing network was a huge struggle. We kept thinking, "There should be a website for this. Why doesn't it exist?"
Later, after she had developed a strong network and was able to regularly find markets to attend as a vendor, she noticed new challenges. Some popups were super successful, while others were slow and not worth her time.
After a year of talking about these problems, Canopy Commons was born as a potential solution.
The premise is simple: Get all the vendors and market organizers onto the same network.
For Vendors:
See all the upcoming popups in the city. Find the ones that match your business. When your target customer aligns with a market's most likely visitor, your chances of a successful event are far higher. For example, a pet-themed business will have a better event at a pet supply shop than a vintage market.
For Hosts:
Get access to all the vendors in the city and have a single place to keep all details about each of your events. You're not locked in to Canopy Commons, but posting your events here as well allows you to access the widest list of available vendors. With a well-curated event, everyone has a more successful day.
The world needs more small businesses run by real people who are a part of your local community. Popup businesses are one of the best ways to start a new business, and I want entrepreneurs to have the best tools possible to succeed.
